    It is an absolute must to weld safely with lasers, as the loss of vision when the eye is hit can be immediate and irreversible. Such safety is offered by the KOWAX® StingRay-Z auto-darkening helmet with aluminium protective shell. It has a large field of view of 96 x 46.5mm with a DIN2.0 aperture in the light state (!) and advanced GRIND/MIX/DARK functions. It is designed to perfectly protect what is most valuable, your eyesight. It protects against scattered and reflected light generated during welding processes performed by handheld laser systems emitting light in the near-infrared region (1000-1100nm).
